MacGizmoGuy's Pressroom
Press Releases have long been a staple of MacGizmoGuy's marketing and business promotion arsenal. Being a freelance Apple computer consultant in an ever-changing world of technology meant there was always something new to announce about the technological landscape - along with my take on the Macintosh marketplace and ecosystem as it continually evolved.
MacGizmo's Retirement & Reincarnation
Can one really 'retire' from the world of technology? It's become so pervasive in everyone's life we can't walk away from it if we wanted to! Still, I thought it important to announce that MacGizmoGuy HAS retired and reincarnated as 'The Waterlily Bear'. My life priorities have changed as I enter my Golden Years. My 'Passion Project' in life has always been gardening in general and pond plant watergardening. That is what my main focus has become post-retirement and issuing a press release about my patio pond water garden paradise was important.
The Waterlily Bear Website Launch PR
The launch of my new post-retirement website:
https://waterlilybear.com seemed fit to be shared in a recent press release. I'd long dreamed of running a site dedicated to growing waterlilies, lotus and bog plants. Russell T. Baer aka The Waterlily Bear 50 years of aquatic plant horticultural expertise that I want to share, much the same as I've done with the world of Apple computing technology.
MacGizmoGuy's Fast-Track eBook Series Promo
Being a freelance Mac consultant required building a smart marketing strategy to reach new clients. Apple technology helped me with print, web and online promotion every step of the way. What I learned from that made me rather savvy in building and promoting a brand presence. So as another post-retirement project I've written a series of Web and Social Media Marketing digital eBooks. In my
'Online Fast-Track' eBook series of How-To mini-guides, I share all I've learned about achieving online visibility, building and marketing a brand effectively and doing it efficiently and smarter than the competition. Those guides are newsworthy and deserving of press attention as well, so I've issued a number of press releases through
IssueWire about those offerings.
MacGizmoGuy's Historical PR Press Archive
In the past, technological advancements in Apple computers weren't just emerging trends. There were many technologies that Apple pioneered and implemented that impacted the Macintosh platform for years to come. Press releases were a great way to inform the world that I was ontop of Apple's announcements and to communicate my preparedness to support new computing hardware, Mac laptop and desktop models, evolving computer interface ports, Apple compatible peripherals and accessories that consumers would purchase. Some of those PR pieces are still live on the internet today as many press release syndication sites like
PRLog.org which keep a permanent archive of all press releases.
