Who Is That Mac Gizmo Guy?

MacGizmoGuy aka The Waterlily Bear aka Russell T. Baer has been an Apple computer consultant and aficionado for over a quarter of a century. In thousands of on-site Mac tech support visits and consultations he's witnessed the ENTIRE personal computer revolution and Apple's incredible rise to dominance in the technology landscape. From the introduction of the Apple Lisa - to the first Macintosh - to modern day MacBook, iMac and Mac mini desktops he was there and supported Apple's computer technology advancements it all along the way.

MacGizmoGuy's Quasi-Retirement

Though I'm now retired from the on-site Apple Tech Support scene, my Mac-Loving Apple Genius brain is unstoppable. Occasionally I offer my Mac wisdom for consulations, make technology recommendations and share what I know. Mostly, I just spend time on my patio puttering with my lotus, waterlilies and bog plants in my mini-pond tub gardens - free from the high-tech world that was the centerpiece of my life since the 1970's.

MacGizmo Reincarnates as The Waterlily Bear

These days most of my energies go to my passion for watergardening and growing different tropical and hardy waterlily varieties, lotus and marginal pond plants - and overseeing the management of my waterlilybear.com website as well as my macgizmoguy.com domain that is still focused on helping Macintosh users understand and shop for 'Best Of' peripherals. I'll still keep up with important emerging technologies and gadgets shaping the present and future Apple computing landscape.

MacGizmoGuy still has much to offer the planet as a prolific author, videographer and online content creator. Did you know he as over 300 watergardening videos clustered and scattered across the social media landscape? As WaterlilyBear, he brings that same depth of expertise to be a trusted, authoritative voice leading the conversations on the world of container water gardening and enjoying the pasttime of growing pond plants.
